Welcome to Xari Africa

Thanks to Xari Africa, 20,000 +girls across sub-Saharan Africa now have access to SRHR services. That’s an entire stadium of girls who no longer have to use rags on their periods, die from unsafe abortions, or drop out of school due to unintended pregnancies. That’s the power of youth-led action

Our Story

From one teen girl’s story to a continent-wide movement for change, This is how Xari Africa began — and why we can’t stop now.

Our Programs

At Xari Africa, we take a holistic approach to SRHR, ensuring that women and girls receive the right knowledge, resources, and support at every stage of their journey. Our programs are designed to meet them at their point of need—whether it’s their first period, accessing essential reproductive health services, or advocating for policy change.

Our Vision

An Africa where every young person — especially girls and women — has equal access to accurate SRHR information, quality education, and the power to make informed choices about their bodies, futures, and communities.

Our Mission

To revolutionize access to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) education across across Africa’s most vulnerable and forgotten communities by combining digital innovation with grassroots advocacy — empowering young people, especially girls and women to lead change, make informed choices, and live healthy, dignified lives.

Our Goals

Xari Africa’s work advances SDG 3.7 (universal access to sexual and reproductive health services, information, and education) and SDG 5 (achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls). In doing so, it embodies the core of the 2030 Agenda—leaving no one behind—including girls in forgotten border communities, teenage mothers in rural villages, and displaced women in IDP camps who are often excluded from mainstream health interventions.

At Xari Africa, we believe that access to SRHR is not just about education—it’s about power, dignity, and the right to a future where no girl is left behind.
